The Moomins are white, round trolls with large snouts, created by Finnish author Tove Jansson (1914-2001). The adventurous Moomin family lives in their house in Moominvalley and experiences numerous adventures together with their various friends.

Moominvalley, a wooded area bordered on one side by the Lonely Mountains and on the other by the sea, is a place where everyone, with all their quirks, is accepted and where imperfection and tolerance go hand in hand. The stories have a life-affirming message: there is hope as long as we continue to believe in each other.
